Sorry about writing another sealed ends post but I couldnt find the other one when i was searching. Could someone explain this to me? Cause I noticed that my hair grew more when I was applying oil and flat ironing and I even had less split ends than I do now and I'm doing braid outs!

in my case, air drying is the way to go. using heat made my hair break as fast as it grew.

I think how you air dry relaxed hair makes the difference. If your hair isn't thoroughly moisturized or if there is a lot of heat on in your house at the time (from a radiator or oven etc) and also if you put something on over the braids.

When I did a braid out, I moisturized the hair and my scalp a lot and then I covered my hair with both a scarf and a satin cap. I also used rollers on my ends and I think that's why my hair was the most moisturized it's ever been.

Even my mother said, your hair is soohhh soft. It stayed like that until I washed it again, without applying more moisturizer.

Argh. I tried to seal my ends today after I flat ironed it first. I can say that my ends are alot smoother but still crazy lookin and dry. I guess thats cause its the last bit of my highlights. I'm not satisfied so being the crazy hair woman that I am, I will wash it again (3rd day in a row!
