I did my first even sew-in today that I am SO proud of because I never even put a braid in my hair by myself before and managed to do 8 small cornrows going back. The only problem is that I had no clue what to do with the ends of my hair. I didn't want to just leave them hanging so I sewed them down at the bottom of my hair but it got kinda bulky. What do you do with your ends of your hair when you cornrow them so that they don't break off? Do you just let them hang or connect them somehow? Does anyone have any pics of their braid pattern b4 sewing in the wefts?
I ended up taking it down cuz i was scared about the ends. I may redo it again later in the week but try to braid horizontally instead of vertically and then sew the end of the hair underneath the braid. I only want to put two tracks in the lower part (below the ear) of my hair.
