I wanna know what is a really good serum to use for flat ironing? I like VS So Sexy Serum....but i want something a lil cheaper.:perplexed

Tell me what serums you ladies use for flat ironing? And for over all shine....beside Chi Silk infusion....that is WAY too expensive for me!:spinning:

I don't flatiron, but when I want extra overall shine, I use Proclaim Serum from Sally's. It comes in several varieties, but I use the red one for color and heat protection. For a 6 oz. bottle, it only costs about $7 dollars, $6 if you have a Sally's card. Sometimes, it's even cheaper if you catch it on sale.

I have some of the VS So Sexy Serum as well, but I save it for "special occasions."

Some of my favorite serumes are:

Sabino Moisture Block
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum
Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum
Neutrogena Triple Moisture Healing Shine Serum
Aveda Light Elements Smoothing Fluid

I have VS So Sexy as well. I plan to use if this weekend. I bought GVP Chi Silk Infusion from Sally's.

i have been using Sally's GVP Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. I flat ironed with it and it came out great! I have also been using it everyday its pretty moisturizing for a serum and smells great! My relaxed, flat ironed hair does not look whack (like it does from water based moisturizers) or weighed down (like it does from oils). I got for $7 at Sallys.
