Good Morning,

I am in search of shampoo and conditioner for my 2 boys who are 11 and 8 years old. Their hair is starting to look very dry, I think it's time out for the kids' shampoo and conditioner. Any recommendations?

TIA for your help!

My son is 2 yrs old and he just uses the products I use. Until April of this year he was using Aveeno baby shampoo and I used it because it was gentle and it was for babies. His hair is a light brown so it appears dull looking so I thought. After I changed my regimen so did his. Now he uses whatever I use minus the protein treatments and the deep conditioning.

All I am saying is whatever you are using on your hair would probably work just as good on theirs.

Also, I used to put a little grease in his hair but now I use Mizani Headress and now his hair is healthier and never dull looking anymore.

My son is 5 and he(&DH) uses what I use. For shampoo Eluence mb for conditioner Suave citurs smoothie and/or humectant they follow with scurl. I cw my son's hair daily(sometimes twice a day) w/Suave citrus smoothie and my DH cw every other day/every day(depends on if whether or not I *tell* him too).

I also use my shampoo on my son's, but lately I've just been CoWashing their hair w/conditioners I've been trying to get rid of. I also loooooove how NTM Silk Touch Leave-in makes their hair nice and soft, very moisturized plus gives it a shine. I use it atleast every other day along w/a boar bristle brush and their hair has been much better. I also use Jojoba, coconut oil and/or the ORS Olive oil hair sheen spray in their hair also mainly when they have a fresh hair cut.

My son is 14yrs old and he uses some of my products. He says the Suave coconut cond makes his hair hard, but he really likes the Mane n Tail poo and cond( you'd think the MnT would make it hard) I tell him to use a little MnT cond on as leave-in and seal in w/ Surges motion lotion # 9 oil and tie down w/ his durag. He is really into the waves and this brings 'em out w/o using Murrays or other wave pomades. He also likes the Sta sof fro( which I use on my 2yr olds hair(very moisturizing)

BeautifulWideEyes I'm going to have him try your sons regimen( since I know what NTM will do ,just never thought to have him try it. Thanks for posting.
