Well, my comparison shots aren't nearly as sophisticated as most around here but I used MS Paint. I just cut and past them into a paint window, resize the pictures and save them as a new image. I"m sure there is a better way, but this works for me.
I use Paint & I also use Pikistrips. If u create a gallery there u can choose how many boxes you want. You will need to upload ur pics from ur computer to do Piki.
Yeah, my friend told me to do it the same way. You basically open up one of the pictures you want to use in the MS paint, then you resize it to make it smaller, then you search for the other picture (I believe it's in the edit column) and you open it with that photo. I did it successfully with two of my photos (though it doesn't look super neat). It took me a little while to understand, though.
I had the same problem, Aggie pointed me to this program called photo scape. It is free to download and it is very simple to use.
Here is the link HTH.
What I do is open a New Word document. Then I choose, Insert Picture. I insert my 1st pic, then I insert the 2nd pic. I resize and modify the two pics until they are side-by-side. Then I take a screencopy into Paint, crop it down to size, then save the Paint as a *.jpg file. check out my fotki...in my comparisons album. That's exactly what those are.
