I need your help LHCF sistas!!! How do I maintain my silky hair with lots of volume after my rollerset?? Once I moisturize and oil, my hair loses volume and silkiness. Any product suggestions?????? I currently use Herbal Essesnce LTR and coco oil to seal. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your hair can do without the moisturizer and oil, skip it or try to use very little.

Also, you can use hot rollers to keep the volume, or just use satin rollers at night and you should have plenty of volume in the morning when you take them down.

Pincurling also works.

I use either a tad of CHI Silk Infusion or One N Only Argan Oil and large flexi rods (2 or 3)

i agree with ceebee.... get your moisture from your conditioner and ditch the additional products on your hair once its dried.

although i'm natural, i experienced this same issue after flat ironing.

You should use the IC fantasia leave-in, its gives your hair shine and moisture without weighing it down - i've been too lazy to rollerset recently, been mainly plaiting all my hair in a fish plait, but when I was roller setting it was the perfect setting lotion.

I experience the SAME; lay off of the products when the hair is dry, until later on in the week. I feel like didn't I just wash my hair, and I am not heavy handed, I PUT HE LTR in there daily until I got build up, so I nixed it and only add in the mid week. I also use a dab or argan oil mid week too. My first 3-4 days I don't need anything in my hair after it has dried.

Thanks everyone for your responses!!!! I will definitely lay off of the products until a few days after my rollerset and will try the products you all recommended!! I knew you all would point me in the right direction!!
