Sista Slick, I, like many on this board am a fan of your articles. Your advice has bought so much success in my personal hair journey.

A lot of women who just had their children are going through major postpartum shedding, and no one seems have any advice for this. One hair dresser recommended Platas B.K.C. and continuing your prenatal vitamins. But I wonder if there is anything else we can do to prevent or minimize shedding? Protective styling perhaps? I know you have children, so I'm hoping you can shed some light, and maybe share an article on the topic :look:

TIA

Wow. OP this is right on time. I had two kids in two years. My youngest is about to turn 2. I'm still shedding! At its best my hair was bra strap length and SO THICK. But now, its thin and dry w/ no elasticity. I don't know what to do.

It's true! I really hope someone that knows her, tells her that she's needed - I know she hasn't been on the forums in a while.
