FOR THOSE WHO wash, condition, and/or moisturize & seal their hair at nite......

DO YOU EVERY GET A JUICY PILLOW????

my family laughs at me

I'm so the HEAVY-HANDED-HANNA when it comes to product

ANYONE ELSE DEALING WITH A HEALTHY MANE...
BUT A JUICY-ARSE PILLOW???

i have to wash my pillow multiple times each week... sometimes sleeping on a towel when going "over-board":lachen::lachen::spinning::spinning:

you've certainly made your mark OP with the specific way you format your threads... I love it that you putcha signature style on it!

Now I don't spoil pillow cases because if I do put the juice on my hair I use a shower cap.

you baggy each nite perfect score???

i do it sometimes... but i'm already bordering excess moisture AT ALL TIMES

BUT U SLEEP IN A CAP?

i'd have zits all over my face if my pillow were juicy. :)
wow, i thought i was heavy handed...guess not.

What you can do is tie your hair up in a satin scarf then cover with a satin bonnet. This stops the juice from getting to the pillow. It works for me.

i need at least ten.... perhaps some therapy as well

STEP AWAY FROM THE BOTTLE.... caroline! come into the light caroline!

The only time I have this problem is when I deep condition over night. I solved this problem by wearing to plastic caps and putting a towel over my pillow. My towel is wet but not my pillow.

No... I baggy every once in a while... most of the time I just go to bed, don't cover my head... just lay my head on my pillow :look: and it's all dried out and compact and mushed down on my head then in the morning I co-wash and BAM! My hair is fabulous.

When I'm really juicy or baggying I --->>> Put on plastic cap, squish out all the air, place stocking cap over the plastic cap, put on satin scarf, then satin bonnet. There, no juicy pillow. I suffer from acne so I flip my pillow cases nightly so even if I juiced the pillow, I wouldn't have to lay in it the next night.

If I DC over night I will use a plastic bag or showercap and cover that with my bonnet and then tie it all down with my satin scarf.

You gotta do something about that juicy pillow OP... i wonder if it ever fully dries on the inside? it may be moldy and gross in there... ick

Wow I thought I was the only one dealing with a "juicy-arse pillow" :lachen:

It's gotten to the point where I have been sleeping with a plastic cap and tie my scarf over it. Only problem with that is when I sit up in the morning all the juice comes running down the back of my neck .. so annoying :look:

How much juice are you putting in? I don't think you are supposed to drench your hair with it lol. Just use a lot less.

I now have a juice barrior .... a hair towel.

its really not that I use too much ... um well maybe - but most times I wash twist and juice just before I go to bed.

if its just a regular juicin, Im good to go but a juicing right after Ive just twisted up my hair .... ohhh lordy :drunk:

I oil my scalp/end every night, and I'm definitely heavy handed, and have low porosity hair!! I had a pink satin pillowcase and it looked DISGUSTING after about a week - even if I wash it, it still looks gross! I uh just...got a black satin pillowcase instead!! I also wear a bonnet over my hair with the pillowcase.

Oh also...a lot of the time I sleep on my couch and it's microfiber...I definitely feel like the spot where my head is is more "moisturized" than other areas...smh.

When I baggy I put on a plastic bag, cover it with a knit skull cap and sleep on a neck pillow. My pillow case is never messed up. My DH call it my "Joe the Wino" look when I use the knit skull cap!!

If I have to go to bed with wet hair I sometimes wrap my hair with my silk scarf and then put a microfiber turbi twist thing on top, so that I look cute and my pillows stay nice. If my hair is very wet I also put a towel over my pillow case.

Not a juicy pillow, but a juicy HEAD-SCARF ! That thing
is so greasy and full of product. It's really no joke how
heavy handed I am. Lol I gotta go buy some more ... or
Ease up on the product .... yea ... I think ill go buy some
More scarves haha

Since my hair is going thru an intense recovery I baggy every night. I juice and seal the length of each braid. Then I baggy and put on my scarf.

And I am heavy handed when it comes to putting product in my hair.

My hair is reacting very well to this method. And my pillow is fine.

I don't usually go to bed with wet hair, but that doesn't mean my pillows have escaped unscathed.

I have a a few head scarves I use to tie my hair down at night, but sometimes I also use a black, satin wig cap. On the rare on the rare occasion that I do go to bed with wet or damp hair, I have to remember not to wear that black wig cap because the couple of times I did wear it with damp hair, it left dark, purplish stains on my pillow cases! :nono:

OP, I'm heavy handed with product too, but... I think you might be doing just a lil' too much lady!

I DC overnight and used to have a juicy pillow.....but then i went to kmart and bought a couple of those plastic pillow protectors with zippers. I put that on the pillow underneath the pillowcase and nothing gets through it. I still have to switch out my pillowcase in the morning but that beats having to wash the pillow.
