Short=less than shoulderlength
Medium=shoulderlength to APL
Long= BSL and beyond.
Medium=shoulderlength to APL
Long= BSL and beyond.

Same here, I'm BSL and feel like my hair is short.
My opinion is...
Short - TWA to shoulder length
Medium - shoulder to APL
Long - anything beyond BSL
