Soda Water to remove chlorine????

I am watching a morning talk show and the expert said that once you get out of the pool pour soda water on your hair to help remove some of the chlorine. Have you heard of this??
She did mention saturating your hair before going in with water and coconut oil and to use a swimmers shampoo when you're done.

What does the soda water do??

Club soda is another good product to use as a rinse on the hair after swimming to remove chlorine. Use the club soda directly after swimming as a rinse or as a shampoo by itself. The carbonation in the soda water will break apart the impurities and help to stop further damage caused by chlorine.
