Softsheen Carson's Breakthru Shampoo

In past threads about the best shampoos, many LHCF ladies recommend Breakthru Shampoo.

I tried this shampoo earlier this year several times. Each time, I felt that it stripped my hair.

Was this product reformulated? Has anyone used this lately?

OMG, I've been using this lately! It's years old, I love the smell and it hasn't stripped my hair.

Sorry I don't know about any new formulations.

I used it a few years ago and i didn't like it at all, i haven't heard anything new on it.

i don't think it has been reformulated. It never stripped my hair and this is still a staple for me. I'm shocked it stripped ur hair with no sulfate

Perhaps product build-up in your hair caused the stripping. I remember the first time I tried Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose conditioner for my deep conditioner and it stripped my hair. Since then I've learned about how product build-up in your hair can have that effect so now I make sure that I clarify my hair regularly. Now Aubry's Honeysuckle Rose con is my staple dc conditioner because it is so moisturizing.

Try clarifying your hair and then give the shampoo a try.

I have a couple in my stash and I find this poo to be less than impressive...makes my hair kinda dry too.
