How are you all measuring tho? From hairline to waist? For me like that it's 27 inches and I'm 5'8.

ETA: I'm gonna guess Im about 16-18 inches from nape to waist.

5'9.5" 24 inches would be waist length on me I guess. My hair has been stuck at a steady 7-9 inches for the past two years that's collar bone length on me.
I got a long way to go I may never ever reach waist length

Whoahoho, don't say that! Or well, you can say whatever you want, but let's try to stay positive! My hair has been stuck at 8-11 inches for over a year. It dawned on me earlier in the week, that I should be closing in on BSL and not APL. I figured out that I probably need to add more protein and that I probably get mid-shafts splits. Took me long enough to think of that! I thought I'd been doing a stellar job, but I was only looking for split ends. I cut protein out completely as a natural and for my fine, cottony strands it was a mistake. So, now I'll be adding in more protein and hennaing my hair.

I saw one post earlier that said something like, 90% of us have been there (with damaged strands) and the other 10% of us don't know.

As a fellow 5'9.5" incher who has been stuck at the same length for a while, I feel the need to keep hope alive! ;) I'm burning a torch for you!

5'6 1/2 .. 20in from nape to WL :ohwell:.. welp with hair currently measuring at 10in guess im half way there:scratchch

I'm 5'8.5" (I sometimes like to claim 5'9" depending on my mood :giggle:) and I measured 2 inches from the bottom of my nape yesterday to double check my previous measurements...it was 18.5" to WL. I have a long torso but my natural waist is normal considering my torso length, if that makes any sense :scratchch HL is relatively far from WL for me, so that is when I will know I am really doing something :lachen::lachen:

i'm 5'7 and from nape to waist it about 15ins for me. i might have measured wrong though, b/c the hair on my nape is already 15 ins and i'm only around mbl. mbl-wl is only like a 3 in difference for me though. i have a short torso.

I am 5'7 ... nape to waist is 19 inches. I have a short torso with a long, graceful neck..I'm built more like a ballet dancer. See avi pic.

I am 5'9" and if I remember correctly, WL is 19" from my nape.

Evallusion - I LOVE your description of your body. It's so refreshing to hear a woman use such positive words to describe herself :yep:

Thanks HauteHippe! I have realized a while ago that I have countless mid strand splits. I admit I haven't done more than three heavy protein treatments the past two years and only one henna. I will need to step my game up also if I'll ever going to past this blockage. I was thinking it is more something missing internally. Thanks for the encouragement though.

I'm 5'8 and 1/4 :spinning:
I would need between 18"-20" to be in the waist range, measure from my nape. I looks like I got some growing to do to get to there, between 7 to 9 inches. Hopeully I can do it in a year and half :drunk:
