HI LADIES!!!

ANYONE HAVE TESTIMONIES OF STEAM TREATMENTS WHILE IN
"PROTECTIVE STYLES"???

micro braids? or simply individuals..........

under sew ins?

under kinky/2strand twists (with weave add-ins)??

I personally will be in individuals for the next 1-2 years

developing a mean growth regimen that eliminates BUILD-UP ... also increases retention!

I've worn micro's for so many years, and the end result always equals thinning (mostly from buildup at the base of the braids)

I figure a few new practices in addition to LITTLE PRODUCT will aide in reducing buildup

SO WHAT HAVE YOU....EH? STEAM HELP? NOPE?

thanks everyone

When I wear braids I steam at least once a week. Synthetic hair sucks the moisture out of my hair so I want to make sure I get as much moisture back into my hair.

Bumping too!
I'll probably be rocking twists for the winter but I still want to use my steamer to retain moisture.

stunner do they affect the synthetic hair at all?
I have a tone of synthetic hair I normally used for braiding... (curly styles) but i felt the steamer would not work well

I keep my hair braided in a circle which I redo every 2-4 weeks. I steam that bad boy and I noticed my hair is a lot softer.

For me and my hair type (4abxyz), steaming with loose hair = a detangling nightmare

Even out of my PS I either plait or twist my hair into about 12 sections

I have tried steaming in braids and twists, but I mainly do it in the winter months to add moisture. I find that steaming in two strand twists makes my roots really tangled, so detangling takes longer. I'd rather steam in braids.

Bump...has anyone tried. I got my hair braided two days ago and was wondering if steaming my hair would help it loosen up a bit.
