Straw sets/rod sets on natural hair

Picture request thread! I'm looking for pics of straw sets or rod sets on natural hair. Also what products did you use and how long did the sets last? TIA!

I love rod sets!! This is a one I had done a couple years ago when I first went natural. It lasted about two weeks. Oh the products used were setting lotion and some mango butter.

Yep, that's all that I did, throw on my bonnet and sleep, the setting lotion is key is you want it to last, I recently did some and didn't use setting lotion and the set only lasted a few days.

My braid in curl could be considered a rod set because essentially its the
same thing. I used perm rods. I used Motion's Foaming Wrap Lotion to set my curls!! They last about a week!!

I braided the roots to about half-way down then I added the perm rods.
