I've read a lot about V05, Suave, etc conditioners most of you ladies love to use -- but these are moisturizing conditioners (If I'm not mistaken). I'm sure they can provide strength, but do any of you use and recommend a strengthening conditioner? While I'm growing my hair out I don't want my two textures (new growth/previously relaxed) to break at the point where they change. Plus, I want my relaxed hair to be as strong as possible. So please recommend some!

I was considering Lotus Powder Plus from Everyday Henna but I don't think it's gonna ship in time before my pre-treatment. Until I order it, please recommend something!

Alot of people on this site use a combination of moisturizing conditioners and protein conditioners for strength.

Yeah, I don't know if you could consider it a strengthing conditioner (well, I guess so since it has soy protein in it), but I use my Aveda deep penetrating hair revitalizer for that.

My TIGI Bed Head Chocolate Head every three months does the trick as well.

I like Aubrey Organics GPB for strengthening. It's a mild protein conditioner.

The ION conditioner is also good.

Some of my long time favs are:

Dudley's Hair Rebuilder
Nexxus Emergencee
Jheri Redding Protein Pac

I use Nexxus Keraphix and ION Effective Care Reconstructor

The moisturizing conditioners Mizani has, also have wheat protein.

Dudley Hair Rebuilder
Aubrey GPB
ORS Hair Mayo
