Summer hairstyle decision? Good or Bad?

Hello everyone,

For summer I am thinking about getting my own hair twisted with extensions on the ends where I need more length. Is this a good or bad choice? I don't want my ends to get dried out or lose any hair but I would like for my hair to be twisted all summer and be able to have a style that looks good. Any advice anyone?

why not apply the hair at the root? I think adding it at the ends on twist may look funny unless the hair is an exact match.

adding hair on the end works with corn rows.

I did think about that and I have been on a mad prowl trying to find some really good hair. I found some human hair kinky at hairsisters.com but its 275.00!!!! So....still looking. I also thought about cornrows but really want a softer look.

just get some synthetic marley hair for like 10 buck a pack and do the twist attaching it from the scalp.

dont make this hard (or expensive) on yourself

yah, i would do twists at the roots. the style will last longer. I'd probably use Kanekolon hair myself.
