I'm getting a texturizer this weekend and I was wondering if you wonderful ladies could share your regimen or have any words of wisdom...pictures would be great too . My hair is 4b (currently natural)..thanks in advance.

Doing the hair in sections keeps results more uniform. Use protectant on hair not being texturized to protect from relaxer runoff. Mix a little oil the relaxer to slow down processing. I like the Phyto relaxer but there are cheaper alternatives out there. Post pics after you're finished if you can.

I am also natural (3.5 years) and I'm really frustrated with maintenance of my hair. I'm weighing my options and texturizing is at the top of the list... so I'm VERY interested in this thread - can't wait to see more replies :yep:
