My hair is relaxed, but I am pretty sure I am a 4a. Does anyone know if it is possible for someone with very tight 4a curls to texturize into big curls like... um Peachtree's? I know that she is natural, but her hair looks gorgeous! My hair can look like that when I do my twist outs, but I just think it would be so much fun to wash and go like that, ya know?

Yes, I know what you mean! Maybe since you're relaxed a rod set would be a safer bet. You could probably brush it out to make it look more natural.

It really depends b/c I think texturizing the hair may make it more straightish and possibly give it that under processed look vs. the big loopy curls you are seeking. I say go with the twist outs and leave the chemicals alone.

Your curl pattern may appear bigger, but not by that much. Texturizing just stretches out your texture.
