I use the SM Coconut Hibiscus stuff....

But after reading the thread y'all have me thinking about using this Keracare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo

Are the new CON as good as the old ones?I know the Argan one is very softening ,what about the other ones?

Joico Moisture Recovery Poo

I second keracare hydrating detangling poo

Keracare Hydrating Detangling Shampoo and Design Essentials Moisture Retention Shampoo.

Yep, can't go wrong with either one of these choices!

Sent from my iPad using LHCF

I 3rd, 4th, 5th it. I don't know why I stray. It reminds me of the old, classic CON shampoo, but 10x better.

Do all of you ladies use the sulfate free version of this Keracare shampoo? The reason why I ask is because I also see the classic sulfate version as well and do not know which one I should get. Thanks

Beautiful Textures Shampoo is good
Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus

I haven't tried it yet but I've heard good things about KeraCare Cleansing Cream. It's on my list of things to try.

Kimiche I live by this shampoo too. I've suggested on here to people quite a few times. Anyway, it's the sulphate free version. The sulphate free first lather is excellent too. I do my first wash with first lather to remove build up (as needed) then I follow with the hydrating detangling (both are sulphate free).

While you are at it.... The keracare Moisturizing Conditioner for Color Treated Hair is great! It's in a bottle not a jar. It's kind of thin and serum like, slimy consistency. It will make your hair feel so good. It works on relaxed, color treated & natural hair.

Thanks for your response. I will check these out soon since I am looking to find new products that will work for my hair. :yep: What do you use for leave-in and daily moisturizer?

I have several leave ins that I like & rotate between depending on whether I'm wearing my hair curly or flatironed/straight. Some of the moisturizers I can put on my hair when it's flatironed & it won't cause my hair to revert. I just focus mainly on applying it to my ends when my hair is straight.

I use kinky curly knot today (curly & straight), kinky curly spiral spritz (curly only), shea moisture coconut hibiscus milk (curly only), moroccanoil hydrating styling cream (curly or straight), sometimes just plain water followed by olive oil (curly only). I alternate between these depending on the hair style & how my hair feels.

I have like 2 leave ins from the keracare natural textures line that I plan to buy this week & test out.

Thanks again. I want to try keracare leave-ins as well. I think one of my cousins uses the keracare natural textures butter cream as a daily moisturizer. I will see if I can try some of hers on my hair to see if I like it. :yep:

Hands down Shea Moisture Raw Shea Moisture retention shampoo. It truly stands behind it name. A runner up is Elasta QP moisture shampoo.
In my relaxed days, Keracare Humecto Hydrating Shampoo was really good as well.

This is the only shampoo that cleans my scalp without stripping my hair, even if I use too much.

Singer Ameriie talks about it in this video:

This is my favorite. Chi Nourish Intense Silk Bath. I never had a shampoo feel so good on my hair. It makes my hair feel moisturized even before I condition. Before I tried it, I thought all shampoos were the same. I bought it at TJ Maxx.

I second this. This is good stuff.
Also, Elasta Cream Conditioning shampoo is great.
