I HAVE CORNROWS AND I PLAN To KEEP OT FOR ABOUT A MONTH OR SO. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND AS TO WASHING THE BRAIDS? WHAT TECHNIQUE DO YOU FREQUENT BRAID-ES USE??? THNX

i use and alot of ladys here the crown and glory technique they have a web site i use it for cornroll and my braids and my weaves and it work well for me:)

I wear cornrows often. I actually just did some new ones earlier tonight.
I can't stand when they get frizzy which usually happens about 8 to 10 days in, especially if you let water run over them.

I use either watered down infusium (leave-in) that I have in a spray bottle AND or African Royal Braid Spray. African Pride is not Black owned so I prefer to solicit African Royal because it is. I spray this on every day. I also add olive oil or WGO to the ends every other day.

When I feel like I'm getting some buildup or if I'm just ready to clean my head. I use a washcloth to clean my scalp between the braids. Sometimes I use a tiny bit of shampoo but I usually just do it with hot water. Tie a silk or satin scarf on as it dries to keep the frizzies in check.
