To all the Ladies from England

I currently studying abroad in England and to be honest I'm loving here by the seashore except that I cannot find any beauty salon that does Afro Carribbean hair. I am in Brighton right now, which is in East Sussex and would love to get a rollerset soon. Does anyone know anywhere relatively close by where I can go?

Also, in less than a month I will be relocating to Birmingham. I desperately need to find a salon there because I'm going to be there for 3 months. Any salon close to these locations will do but I will also take any suggestions that are located in London.

Can you also please tell me what the average price for a wash and set should be cuz I'm sure they would love to rip off us Americans

Hey can't tell you about Sussex, but when I was in Birmingham (about 5 years ago though) I used to go to a salon called Maddisons and I remember going to one called "Splinters" once. I remember the stylists at Maddison's made my hair look nice.

Don't go to salons very regularly to recommend a London one, the ones I used to frequent were in NW or East London, feel free to PM me if you want. Pick up a copy of Black Beauty & Hair or Black Hair magazine both UK based), you may get some useful info there.
