To those who put braids in their hair..

Do you ladies blow dry your hair straight before putting braids in your hair? And do you also blowdry the Kanekalon hair or whatever kind of hair that you use?

I don't blow dry, I just braid my own hair, I don't use extensions.

When I wore braids, I didn't blow dry it straight. Since I used to micro braids, I didn't need to straighten my hair. My hair didn't stick out of the braids or anything like that. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't blow dry my hair either. I wash and deep condition it. Put some WGO and a leave in conditoner in my hair while it's wet. Wait for it dry then I'll braid it. I've never blowdried or treated the kanekelon hair. HTH..

You can't put any heat on the Kanekalon. Remember what happens to it when you burn the ends - it melts together...
