Is it ok to trim the ends between touch ups? I'm about 9 weeks post relaxer and my ends are damaged and breaking from me hacking through them before and although I'm taking better care now, the damage is done and i hate seeing them look ragged and crunchy. What would be the best way to go about trim them without causing further damage?

No, there's nothing wrong with trimming between touch-ups. If you have a stylist that you trust--you can make an appointment with her for a trim only. Otherwise, if you are skilled at doing your own trims, then go for it.

I've had trims between touchups before and there's nothing wrong with that.
