When I hit waist I stop
I got my hair pressed on Saturday and when I saw it and touched it all I could think was thank you ladies at LHCF b/c this is the best I've ever seen my ends look in my life. So I bow down before your power of knowledge.

But now I've dicovered that, I'm gettin breakage. Small tiny minute pieces, that kinda look like stubble /images/graemlins/confused.gif whenever I touch or comb my hair. I don't want to go back to how my end were before, any advice?

Thanks in advance

That's what my hair does too when I use heat. Not sure how to avoid it besides NOT using heat at all. Or maybe make sure your ends are well protected before using heat./images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well this was back in the day when I was relaxed and I was using it at least 1x/week. And even when I was natural everytime I would flatiron or hot comb I had those pieces. I just called it chipping. Little ends about 1/2" or less that just chip off right? I used heat for my BDday last weekend and before that I hadn't used it since August 7th. I won't be using it again.

No, my ends are actually pretty awesome, in no need of a trimming. This was the first time I had used heat since August, Nay, and I had like one split end when I went over my hair...or at least one I found.

Yea Faith, it's just there. how harmful do you think it'll be to my growth

Well harmful in the sense that all you grow may be "chipping" away. You have to find a way to stop it. I find washing the press out of my hair stopped the chipping almost immediately. Can you wash it?
