Twists on relaxed hair

One of my sisters is transitioning YAY!! (I have like 5 sisters yall) Anyway, she hasn't had a perm in 4 months and she wants me to twist her hair like i have mine but i don't think her hair will catch like mine does because im natural. Do any of you relaxed heads wear twist and if so , how do you get it to stay and not look thin?

If yall have any tutorials to point me to, please do so

Maybe easier than twists on relaxed hair b/c braids stay better.

I used to do a single braided ponytail to give my hair a thicker look.

My twists are largely a hit or miss & I'm relaxed. Sometimes they come out great and others a hot mess. I find making parts then twisting the hair onto the scalp like I would if I was cornrowing makes them more defined but I'd like some more Youtube suggestions for added help.
