Thanks for this! I'm pretty sure I'm deficient in iron. My hair color is lighter and has experienced alot of breakage and shedding. It's much better now that I started taking care of it and now that I eat a more plant based diet. I'll probably up my spinach intake anyway.
 
I lost my hair, by the handfuls for 2 months last year. I assume it was a thyroid imbalance, but it hasn't been confirmed yet. However, when I got a blendtex blender & started making kale/spinach based smoothies, it started to come back. It took a few months, but it's better than it has been in years! I'm very pleased!
