I'm a newbie, still learning what products are nurishing and which are harmful for hair. I'm having to dump a lot of my current products due to harmful ingredients such as mineral oil. I found the following conditioner. The ingredients look good to me....what do you all think? Has anyone tried this? Not crazy about the price $10/8oz., but worth it if I only have to rely on 1 conditioner vs. 15.

TIA

Everyone is different. You learn my trial and error. I would just say give this no less than 6 weeks to evaluate the difference in your hair. Once or twice will not do it.

It looks fine, but it may work for your hair or it may not. Pay attention to the results you get.

Also, I wouldn't throw things away just because they have "bad" ingredients. It's not like mineral oil can make your hair fall out...you just need to research the ingredients and make sure you know the pros and cons of using them. Lots of people use mineral oil and petroleum, but they also make sure to use shampoo to get rid of build up. Here's a great blog post on mineral oil that might interest you:

Basically, don't just write something off because it's known as a "bad" ingredient. Do your own research here and other places (including google) and then make a decision.

ITA with msa...I use a lot of products the ladies here may not "approve" of lol. I use shampoos with SLS and "natural" conditioners dont work for me at all. You really have to pay attention to your hair and what it responds to best.
