I did the April Fools Stretch and made it successfully to 16 weeks. I am now at the 20 week mark and said I would go on to 24 weeks if I was still able to manage my hair. I have been doing a version of sylver's scarf method but just doing one big braid in the back instead of rolling and then bunning the braid or doing a cute pin-up. When I shampoo, the detangling isn't that bad (with the help of s-curl).
I want to straighten it out before my T/U to see how much NG, b/c I did get a little trimmed off during this time, but I don't think i will until my T/U.
I am going to go for another 4 weeks, which will make it 6 months, but I will be sad when I relax b/c I actually like running my hands through my NG and feeling it!!!! Am I weird or anybody else have this feeling???

my new growth. There is something very unique about it. It is strong and textured and just lovely!!!! The waves and coils....I can't say enough about them. I also love the way my hair feels when it is relaxed.
my new growth!!!!
. I'm a little nuts!
because my hair feels like silk. I usually get a rollerset any other time I go to the salon but to stretch it all the way out and to be able to judge exactly how much new growth, I will probably get it blow dried and flat ironed w/the ceramic flat iron (which contributes to that "silky" feel).
