I have had cornrows in my hair for the past two (2) weeks and am ready to wash them tonight - any suggestions?

I used a special braid shampoo which I sprayed in and massaged through my parts as well as the length of the braids. I then rinsed under the shower w/ warm water. I then followed with braid conditioner.

do what the hair lady says...if u use a regular shampoo, pour a cap-full amount of shampoo in a large cup and fill the rest with water and let it run down your hair. and continue to rinse using the cup until all of the shampoo is out. this is what i do too

I just got cornrows and I plan on washing them by diluting shampoo and water in a bottle with a nozzle top. Spraying it in between the rows and massaging gently. Then I will rinse by pouring water over my hair until the shampoo is all out. Dry gently and cover with a silk or satin scarf to keep frizzies down.

When I had cornrow extensions I used The Hairlady's technique as Honeydrop215 said. When it was was time to remove the extentions there was no build up whatsoever.
