No, but I was talking to my husband about this a few weeks ago. We were discussing how much they would cost for the home. He had never thought about it for the home. Only for commercial/academic purposes.
I considered purchasing a water distiller at one point but I bought a water ionizer instead. Will you use the distilled water internally or externally? If you are considering internal use, do research thoroughly first because prolonged use of distilled water results in inorganic minerals being leached from body cells and tissues. Distilled water is also acidic instead of alkaline which can lead to numerous health problems. There are some advantages to internal use of distilled water such as its ability to remove toxins from the body fast and effectively. However, distilled water shouldn't be used internally for longer than two weeks. It's excellent for external use!!!
