Does anyone out there have weather-proof hair? In other words, hair that stands up to humidity (think Florida or along the coast) that is not in a bun or "pulled back"? If so, could you point me to a picture?

I do, when I wear it curly, which is most of the time. My picture was in the gallery. I think it's still down.

Right. When I wear my ringlets down airdried w/serum (or blowdryed w/serum but w/o combing), the weather won't change them. See my pics linked below.

My straight hair reverts to ringlets in rain or humidity. I'm relaxed.

What I use to "weather-proof" my hair on occasion are two things:

1) a serum (right now I use the John Frieda Texture correcting serum)
AND
2) a light spritz of Optimum Soft Holding Spritz
(This spritz literally melts into the hair; by the end of the day you barely know that you had sprayed it on at all.)

This combo has saved many a braidout from turning into mush

I would love to have weather-proof hair! Maybe I'll try a good serum. Right now, I'm using Aveda Anti-Humectant Pomade on my relaxed hair that does help a lot. My hair will still frizz if it's humid enough.
