This was my simple regimen last night/this morning:

-Wash with Motions Neutralizing Shampoo

(The CON just does not do it....I can't handle all the buildup!...CON sucks! :look: )

-Condition with Queen Helene's Cholesterol

(I realize that the catch with this is that you MUST follow the directions. And for me, this treatment is absolutely pointless unless I create a creamy "lather" with the cholesterol and sit under the hair dryer for at least 20 minutes. But I tell you, when I do, I'm able to comb through my hair with almost no breakage! And i'm 5-6 weeks post-relaxer)

-Rollerset hair soaking wet

(I don't towel-dry my hair. I just squeeze a bit of water out, comb and start roller-setting. I spray each section with a heavily diluted solution of the Lottabody setting lotion that's already diluted; the one w/ the purple cap that says no dilution is needed. This process takes about 45 minutes - hour, but it is so worth it!)

-Sit under dryer

(For at least 45 minutes)

-Curl each section with a warm curling iron

(Now, I did this in the morning...only because I wanted to make sure my hair was completely dry. Why do I even bother w/ the iron when I've done such a smooth rollerset? Two reasons: (1) - My hair is texturized, so there's always a bit of wave left somewhere, especially with my newgrowth, and (2) - Regardless of how smooth the rollerset is, if I don't use heat, the humidity of my city that is Houston, will frizz my hair something crazy. So, instead of experimenting with no-heat, I just bit the bullet and stuck w/ a regimen that I know works.)

And I have lovely hair today that swings and moves w/ the wind!
It's not heavy because I didn't use too many products.

I may go and get a trim @ SuperCuts today....shouts out to Serena!

Itismehmmkay, how long is your hair right now? What size rollers are you using?

What is the cholesterol treatment supposed to do? Is it the same as a protein treatment?

Congrats on your success with a simple regime!

Hey girly.......thanks!

The Cholesterol is just a deep conditioner.

And my hair is cut into a bob that will grow out to a blunt cut (or undercut as Supercuts told me...this'll add weight to my fine strands. I've been searching for someone to know what I was talking about...finally!)

So, the top of my hair is 6-7 inches while the very bottom is about 1 inch. I used yellow rollers for the top and then blue rollers for the bottom. Once my hair grows some more, I figure rolling won't be as time consuming because I'll be able to use fewer rollers ;)

Everytime I go to walmart, I want to pick up the queen helen cholesterol since it's so cheap! I know I used it a long time ago, but I can't remember if I liked it or not.
