Wet Hair Dry Scalp

I have noticed that if I set my hair on very wet hair the next day, when my hair is dry, I have a dry itch scalp. Does this happens to anyone else? What could it mean?

That's why. Hair dryers dry your scalp. Air dryer is a lot better for your scalp. Far less itchiness.

Actually the same thing happens to me, unless I grease my scalp while my hair is still wet. Or oil it. I think the large amount of water dilutes our natural scalp oils and then evaporates, which leaves it dry after the water is gone too. And I also air dry.
