I wash my hair once a week, I usually braid it while it is wet. When I take my braids out it is very very dry. Help ladies if you know something I can put on my hair, so it's not so dry.
I have used oils, grease, and leave-ins.

There is a great tip on another thread: I think it's safflower oil. nPlease go check the thread, but I'm not sure if it has a great effect on wet hair.

Maybe you want to try something from Aveda like the Brilliant Universal Styling Creme? If you just use a little bit when you're hair is wet, it really helps the hair to dry nicely :-)

Why don't you try to wet (rinse) your hair more often. I know some are afraid, but water is really the best moisturizer - oils/butters will just help the moisturize (water) from evaporating.
