I'm curious.

I ran into my former "weaveologist" at the BB Hair Show last week. She's also a very good, albeit very expensive, hairstylist--which is why I now DIY (except for cuts and bleach jobs).

I asked her what would be a good DC to try.

She answered, "That YOU can buy, or what WE can buy?"

I replied, "For me to buy."

"Moisture or protein?" she asked.

"Moisture."

"Try Moisturefuse by Mizani. It's really moisturizing."

I thanked her, but now I'm curious. I really should have also asked her what they buy for their use on clients.

Does anyone know what brands they use?

bump! Id like to know this also. Ive got a couple of friends who are stlyists. If there is a way for them to order some BETTER dc's for me, Im all over it!

I think it depends on the stylists. There are SO many salon brands I think it would be hard to say exactly. You can buy salon products a lot of places such as Ulta, JC Penny, and online stores
Mizani
Paul Mitchell
Kera Care
Kenra
Redken
Biolage
Motions

I would love to know as well.

I'm not working much now these days so I have to learn to DIY.
At first I didn't think I could grow healthy hair on my own especially since I decided to stop relaxing, but I am learning. I've had some bumps and bruises along the way but over all I'm pleased with my progress.

AO HSR is my all time fav but since doing the BKT I'm not sure they mix well.

Yep, Mizani was the first and only thing she mentioned.
