What is healthier on hair? Maxiglide or regular ceramic flat iron?

I just realized that I might have slept on something good....Maxiglide.

I want to know your opinion. Which would be healthier on hair?Maxiglide or regulkar flat iron?

For some reason I'm on under the impression the Maxiglide with the steam would be better for me and less damaging.

Anyone knows the answer? Which is best?

I am curious about this as well. I saw the presentation on HSN last night, and was really thinking about ordering it. My thing is, they never said if the plates were ceramic or not.

But other than that, I might have ordered it. My favorite feature is the steam thingy. Seems like that would be better for your hair than the dry heat from a regular flat iron.

They mentioned the plates are ceramic... The small teeth as well are made of cermaci. They said it on their clips at:

EbonyPeresz, that was why I intially went with another iron, because those teeth... looked like the can snag the hair....

After I use my maxiglide my ends always come out so crazy even after I've been trimmed. I stopped using it on my ends a while ago. Just the roots when I'm stretching

I love my maxiglide me and him will never part. I just don't do it often. The trick with the teeth is not to grab a lot of hair and just let it glide through and if it works on my natural 4/ab hair it should work on any one i am doing it this sunday and I will update my fotki.

Girl, you can switch the plates and use the flat one. I didn't like the teethy thing either but I'm giving maxi to my step daughter because them suckers get too hot for my hair even on the lowest setting. I don't get it:confused: my hair is thick and all but them suckers are to hot and I was only gliding over my hair one time:)
