This past summer i used my powders as a "TEA".

But I have always wondered if you still get the same benefits you would when applying the powders as a "PASTE", so for the past couple of weeks i have been using this method.

Do you think it matters which method one uses?? What's really the best way to get the most out of the Indian Powders?

I personally think that it benefits you either way but I like the paste because my hair feels stronger and looks thicker. when I first started using ayurveda I was mixing my powders with conditioner and I liked that too but I like using the paste better

For me it depends on the objective. For cleansing I prefer tea rinses or adding powder to co-washes. My hair loves to hold on to the herbs and it's a hassle getting all of it out. For conditioning/coloring I prefer the powders. I get a better effect (especially for coloring) if the powder is directly on my hair for a long period of time (hours). The effect out-weighs the hassle of getting the powder out.
