I'm 14 weeks post today. I'm experiencing some breakage. Not major but it's there. Should I relax? Is there anything I can do to cease it so that I don't have to relax? I've tried Nexxus Emergencee a couple weeks ago. It helped a bit but now it's back:swearing: .

Help a sistah out!!!!!!

Well, I'm post 9 weeks and would like to wait until the 1st week of December to re-touch. I haven't experienced any breakage since I started using

My edges get a little out of control during the week but I just comb my hair over it and no one really knows but me. It leaves your hair really soft but not mushy. I really can't explain it but I have absolutely no breakage.....I mean the occasional strand here and there but nothing to complain about. Also I pin curl my hair nightly to avoid wrapping and this is wonderful. I apply some jojaba oil and WGO to my hair after I apply the infusium and my hair remains straight and silky. Typically I use it as a leave in after I wash and deep condition but during the week I may apply a small dap. It can be used on dry and wet hair and it doesn't revert the hair or give it that bushy look. just a suggestion.......hths

I've never used Emergencee, but was it meant to last longer than 2 weeks? You may have lost the benefit of the treatment and if it helped you can always do another one.

If it were me, I would go ahead and relax. How long do you ususally stretch? I just dont think the breakage and shedding is worth it.

I'm a first time stretcher. But from lookin on the calendar, it doesn't seem like I'm waaay beyond my touch-up due date. It's really not major. I may see a strand or two on my shirt but when I mess with my pony after adding my oils and stuff, I may see another strand, two or three. As opposed to a few weeks ago when I wasn't seeing anything.

I'm seeing a few strands too (7 weeks post, want to stretch to 11), but I'm not too worried about it. If anything the breakage might be due to a little "rough handling" - personally, I'm still getting used to the concept of gentle combing, LOL. :look: Plus, I haven't done a protein treatment in a while - I'll do one this weekend. Overall, though, I wouldn't sweat it too much unless you feel the breakage is excessive. I'm one of those who believes that it's impossible to have absolutely NO breakage at all during a stretch.

Good luck!
