What do you use to slick back your hair into a bun? Gel? Some type of butter? What works best??

I use protein gel, moisturizer, and silf efx on my edges. I'm relaxed so when I have a lot of new growth I use cheapie conditioners to slick my hair back mix with gel and some time of oil.

I use gel that does not contain alchol. Aloe vera is also good.

I moisturize the hair first with Surge Moisture Aid and Mgt. And the gel mix i use is Aloe gel and IC gel. On the ends of my hair I slather them with vasline.

I absolutely hate doing wet buns and ponytails on my hair because they NEVER dry. So, when I do my usual DRY bun, I use WGHO and NTM Healing Shine Serum to lay my hair down. Keep in mind these two products don't work on stubborn new growth so sometimes I slick damp hair down with EQP Mango Butter and let my hair air dry before bunning it.
