I would clarify and or chelate before proceeding with my regular routine (moisturize, & seal) if my ends were still crunchy after they dried I would definitely trim a bit.
Hey! Roller set your hair tautly. Make sure all of your hair is soaking wet when you roller set. Sometimes putting a serum on your ends (a very small amount is all you need) really helps.
Clarify, Deep Condition, Moisturize (i used Kids Oraganics Shea Butter) and seal (coconut oil). I tried it last nite and I was so happy with the results.
I agree w/clarifying. Follow up w/a moisturizing DC. Then baggy during the week using whatever moisturizer works on your hair sealed w/oil. When I colored my ends and they were feeling rough I dc'd 2x per week to get my hair back in shape.
on dry hair i would mix your fave conditioner with honey and coconut oil and slather it on making sure to get the ends. sit under a plastic cap for as many hours as possible.
