When you have brittle ends that only go away if you hair is wet what do you do? Reach for the scissors or the deep conditioner?

I would clarify and or chelate before proceeding with my regular routine (moisturize, & seal) if my ends were still crunchy after they dried I would definitely trim a bit.

After deep conditioner I use Jamaican black castor oil on my ends. Great stuff smooths them right out and them soft.

I would dust a little and then apply Qhemet Amla & Olive - Heavy Cream on my ends. I now get supple ends

Hey! Roller set your hair tautly. Make sure all of your hair is soaking wet when you roller set. Sometimes putting a serum on your ends (a very small amount is all you need) really helps.

Clarify, Deep Condition, Moisturize (i used Kids Oraganics Shea Butter) and seal (coconut oil). I tried it last nite and I was so happy with the results.

Ok I meant to say Clarify or chelate if I haven't done that in a while...I think if you did both at the same time that might make it worse.

I've found that smoothing my ends with castor oil helps alot. I use a generous amount and then twist into bantu knots overnight.

I agree w/clarifying. Follow up w/a moisturizing DC. Then baggy during the week using whatever moisturizer works on your hair sealed w/oil. When I colored my ends and they were feeling rough I dc'd 2x per week to get my hair back in shape.

Moisturize with Mizani H20 Nightime, Seal with Castor Oil and then protect ends by tucking under and pinning.

on dry hair i would mix your fave conditioner with honey and coconut oil and slather it on making sure to get the ends. sit under a plastic cap for as many hours as possible.
