Okay, I have seen many of y'all raving about adding honey to your DC. I have been hesitant because honey is messy and sticky and all that. Well yesterday while at Kroger, I happened upon whipped honey.

It doesn't contain any extra ingredients the only thing listed under ingredients is honey. Do y'all think it would work as well as regular honey if mixed with a DC?

That stuff looks good! I use honey on my face and in my conditioner. I never found it to be messy or sticky when mixed in. We don't have Krogers in Vegas but one of our grocery stores here carries their products. I'll be looking for this next time I go.:)

How do you use it on your face and for what purpose?

I'll tell you if you send me your baby with my next order of BT! J/k
I use it in the coffee scrub that Pokahontas recommended with coffee grinds, honey and olive oil. Anyway, honey is a humectant which allows moisture to bind to the skin and hair. It makes my skin feel so soft and moisturized.

It is on here but I don't know how to link past posts. It's titled "For Skin Like Butta..."

I really like it because it leaves my skin with a glow and healthy looking. It doesn't hurt to try it. Good luck!

Naturallady, have you ever tried taking zinc for your skin? Some individuals with acne have had good results with zinc supplementation along with B5. Of course, you need a good natural facial cleansing routine, and you should see some good results in a few weeks. Zinc 30mg and 4g of B5 daily -- this was recommended to my 15 year old daughter by a worker in the health food store, and we gave it a try because she had tried everything else. So far her skin is a lot better. She takes a liquid zinc that is 15mg twice a day. She does a morning dose and a evening dose with her regular multivitamin. Also, a mix of vinegar and water as an astringent helped with her really big bumps that would be sore. **Of course please research this and also discuss it with your doctor.

I also use honey on my face (Manuka honey 10+) - leaves my face feeling really soft. I use it twice a week after I exfoliate with bicarbonate of soda.

Hello Ladies,

I take about 2-3 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of sugar and mixed it with a little olive oil. Then used it to exfolilate my skin about once a week. My skin feels wonderful afterwards. :D

Leoqueen I'm sorry to be jacking your thread but I gotta know......

Can I get this zinc and B5 at the GNC??? I need some help!

No need to apologize. LOL Have you tried Neutrogena products? I have been using nothing but Neutrogena for about 3(?) months and I LOVE them! Also the aspirin mask is great for acne prone skin.

Havent tried it but I'll be going to the store to get some. Neutro makes this mask too?

Thanks belladionne!! I'll be going to GNC too!

That looks really interesting. I'd love to try it. I use honey for my skin, usually honey masks and in my scrub. Honey has anti-bacterial properties and really helps clear things up. I'll have to remember to make a trip to Kroger's.

No, Neutrogena doesn't make the Asprin mask, that's a DIY kinda thing, just aspirin and water or witch hazel. They do make a great mask called Clear Pore Cleanse/Mask.
