Who else thought "trained" hair was just styling?

Until all these heat damaged v. heat training threads I just thought "trained" hair was when your hair fell into the same style with minimal effort, i.e., your part is always in the same place even if you do not physically make the part.

Anyone else not realize "trained" hair was such a hot topic?
