I have human hair and synthetic half wigs that I think are ruined because of the Almond Glaze that I apply to my twists and castor oil I use on my edges. I don't put oil on the wigs but I do put it on my hair (always before I put on the wigs). Now the wigs are oily and look yucky! I tried to wash them but that seems to just have spread the oil all around. Is there anything I can do to save them?

Honestly--I would just get a new wig.
Once a wig is already all oily and messed up-- it's hard trying to get it unoily. All of the money that you spent trying to get it to look brand new can be invested in a new wig. It probably won't ever look exactly how you want it. I am a wig wearer myself.
Good Luck and HHG!

So I threw out the synthetic one. But I soaked the human one in ACV and it came out ok. I am thinking about trying Baking Soda since it clarifies? Any other ideas of how to save the wigs?
