Would you press and curl a boy's hair?

I wouldn't press any child of mines hair - male or female - at a young age. I can't see the video, so I don't know how old he is, but it sounds like he's under puberty, so no.
The only way I might agree to a pre-pubescent child having their hair pressed is if the child was being used as basically a hair model - in that case, I might allow it, but it would get washed out as soon as the 'event' was over.
