Hi, Ladies! I just wanted to share something with those whose nape stays dry and brittle, no matter how often you moisturize. I tapped my bottle of ylang-ylang on my finger tip and did the same w/ castor oil, on top of that. I rubbed the two between my fingertips and applied it to my nape. It has never been more moisturized! I usually "beed" up, a few weeks after a relaxer. So far, this hasn't happened. I don't know what ylang-ylang does but I can't keep my hands off my nape; it's so soft!

sheesh! i'm glad it's working for you, and that you can afford to use it like that!

isn't ylang-ylang essential oil like eighty four hundred dollars an ounce? :drunk:

I got mine from the health food store. It's Aura CAcia Ylang Ylang III, 100% Essential Oil. It was $14.99 + tax, for a .5oz bottle. The way I use it, I just put my finger tip over the top of the bottle, turn the bottle upside down and what's left on my finger tip gets mixed w/ the castor oil (although, I'm a little more generous with it).
