Well today is my day. I normally don't spend all day on this side of the board, but I've been here for a while searching for some help.

What I don't like is that my hair texture has changed within the last two weeks. I didn't finally notice it till today, but looking back I think I can pinpoint it to the braidouts i was doing.

It's so life less, I've washed it twice this week, and rollerset it- airdry. I don't know what's going on but it's just not working for me anymore. I'm at the point where I either want to relax it or cut it off.

And to add it's getting more and more tangles when I wash. I'm almost 4months post texlexed so I'm not having a good time washing. I'm so frustrated I want to scream. It's times like this where bad mistakes are made and I don't want to make them.:nono:

Looking at the fotki and siggys don't make it better when I'm sitting here with hair issues.

I'm really hating my hair right now.

VENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*screams*:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

on top of this my nail is short and brittle when it was long and growing just 3 weeks ago.:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

No there isn't anything major going on. Maybe it's the weather. I was doing some major traveling recently so that could be it. Maybe I'm stressed and I don't know it.

Maybe it IS the travel? I mean whenever I'm traveling a lot, I get really dehydrated...my hair and nails pay the price. Dry re-hydrating yourself and taking it easy before you do anything drastic.

:yep:
My nail always breaks when I'm traveling

I'm sitting here with a bottle of water.. since I have SC I can't help but to drink water like there is no tomorrow but that never stops us from being dehydrated.

Abenyo...last night my hair was a mess, I hated the look, resorted to a rare combing with my shower comb....could not comb my roots. I dug through my stash and found some THERMASILK of all things. I bought it from BJ's in a large bottle during my early LHCF days when I was buying products left and right. Anyway..last night I used the Thermasilk for a conditioner shampoo, lightly towel dried then used the recommended dime sized amount of KERACARE leave in. I did two hanging side twists...this morning my hair was silky soft from root to ends. Try a conditioner wash.

I'm with BrooklynSouth, go back through your reggy. I bet you're leaving out something that your hair is missing bad. :yep:

It happens to all of us! I love my hair, but I don't like it! :lachen:

OT Sareca, your hair is to DIE FOR! :lick: I love the new pics!

Whenever I don't like my hair or its shedding, breaking, too dry, too soft, whatever, I immediately go into "protective mode" and stop handling/manipulating it too much until I take stock and figure out what's up. Buns, braids, updos with hair decorations takes me thru the tough times . . .

Abenyo add me to the list! I dont like my hair right now. I mean really I dont. I dont feel like being bothered with it and I dont feel like styling it even. I need a new style and I dont quite know how to style it any other way than I always do. I cant afford to pay a million dollars for somebody to style my hair and then be scared that they dont know HOW to handle my hair, ya know? OK....vent over! :spinning:

I hope you get it all worked out. :(

When I wake up with those type of mornings, I wet my hair down and just pull it back in a low bun. :spinning:
