What have you learned along the way that you want to share that has contributed to your success travelling this road to longer hair.

I'll start. I have to admit that I just recently learned these things even though I have been travelling this road for several years. I know I will be learning more new things, but these are the basics. Not everything that is shared will work for us, or sometimes it may take a little longer for some of us to get it! Anyhow this is what I've learned:

1) low manipulation styles (1 month at a time)
2) aphogee protein treatment every 4 weeks
3) buying a seamless comb
4) using Shikakai co-wash (no more shampoo)
5) GHE every night (greenhouse effect is excellent)

My hair is not weighed down with products, it's light, stronger, and healthy looking. I don't have pictures because I've never documented my hair journey. But based on my last relaxer which was 4 months ago and I just gave myself a touchup this past weekend, I can tell my hair has grown alot.

1) Co-washing
2) Only combing on wash day
3)Deep conditioning often
4)Baggying

I have also found that technique is more important than products in my case.
