....But my journey to redheadedness was a fail.
Long Natural Hair Care: Redhead Semi Fail (more pics there)
I wanted vibrant red, but I got:
The roots are kinda a decent color, but it gets progressively darker/browner as it goes from root to tip.
Any coloristas have any suggestions on how to fix? Any brand or color name suggestions? Ideas?
I figured I'd wait a week or two and then re-color and if I fail again I'd just go to the salon. (Which is what I'm trying to avoid)
ETA: I used textures & tones ruby rage, and this look is result of a twistout from 7 twists

It barely showed up.

The pic you posted is her hair with the dye still in it. If you go to the link I posted she's in cornrows and her hair came out well.....brownish.
