I forgot the name of the person. But you want the owner to do your short haircut. So ask for the owner.

They have a drawback though. They take FOREVER to do your hair. They talk, take a lots of breaks and they try to sell you stuff. So bring lots of snacks, water and food. But I did use them back in 2008 when I wanted cut all of my hair off and that lady did my hair good good good. Just try to be the first appointment for the day or else you will have to get a sleeping bag to sleep overnight. LOL!

Thanks so much! Is she LHCF certified lol? I usually get wash and sets with my roots blow dried. What do they do there???

I usually go to EHD for relaxers and rollersets. But she is awesome with a flat iron. I let her do my eyebrows too. I dont know if she is LHCF certified. But Violet is nice. Just go in or call her and tell her what you want.

Can I just say how happy I am to have found this thread? I go to Hofstra and I've gone to a Dominican salon (Juanita's) on Fulton Ave. for wash and sets, but now that I'm in desperate need of a touch up, I don't know if I would trust them with it. Jerusalem Ave. is about 20 minutes from me, maybe I'll check out Ehd.
